GAME TRAILER HERE

Two agents are working together to find a terrorist named ‘Al Faisal’. ZACH is American, NIKOLAI is Russian. They have an informant who works for Al Faisal feeding them intel in exchange for his family’s safety. Now, after a failed attempt to capture Al Faisal, the informant's family is in trouble. Zach and Nikolai argue about what to do next.

EXT. SYRIAN ROOFTOP - DAY

NIKOLAI and ZACH are on the rooftop. The Syrian sun blazes in the background. NIKOLAI is on the phone to the INFORMANT.                         

INFORMANT (V.O.)
Nikolai! What the fuck happened? Al Faisal’s guys are tearing this place apart! He knows there’s a mole!

ZACH
This isn’t the time Nikolai.

Nikolai holds the phone away from him to talk to Zach.

NIKOLAI
Shut the fuck up!

Nikolai brings the phone back to his ear.

NIKOALI
Iman I’m sorry! We almost had him.

INFORMANT (V.O.)
Please… my family… you have to get to them. If he knows… If he knows I’ve helped you he’ll-

There is a loud crash in the background of the call, followed by agitated yelling in Arabic,  The line goes dead.

NIKOLAI
(Russian)
Fuck!

NIKOLAI(CONT’D)
We have to get to Iman's family.

ZACH
Like hell we do! This could be our last chance. The mission’s about to be a bust, and our only lead has a time limit.

NIKOLAI
What are you talking about?

ZACH
You think the lieutenant's just gonna stay put? He’ll be out of there as soon as he hears about this shit.

NIKOLAI
I made a promise to Iman, Zach! I need to keep his family safe. They're in this position because of me.

ZACH
They're in this position because of Iman's life choices. And because Al Faisal’s a bastard. Let’s kill him and come back for Iman and his family after.

NIKOLAI

There’s no time! Al Faisal probably has men on the way to them right now!

ZACH
This is it, Nikolai, can’t you see?! We have a second chance to take out one of the most wanted terrorists in human history. After tonight, he’ll be in the wind.

NIKOLAI
I made a promise.

ZACH
Fuck your promise. This is more important.

NIKOLAI
Typical American. No collateral damage too small eh? As long as you get the glory.

ZACH
We have a mission comrade. You’re just going to drop that for some rag heads?

Nikolai grabs Zach and slams him up against the wall.

NIKOLAI
Listen to me you little shit. This isn’t about winning! This isn’t about being a patriot! This is about not letting innocent people die!

Zach breaks Nikolai's grip and punches him in the face.

ZACH
Get your hands off me.

Nikolai stumbles backwards. He turns back towards Zach and spits out blood.

NIKOLAI 
Zach, if we let this happen, what makes us different from Al Faisal?

ZACH
Go do what you have to do. I have a mission to complete.

Zach storms past Nikolai. Nikolai watches him go angrily. Then turns on his heel in the opposite direction, towards Iman’s home.
